Begun after 9/11, but conceived as a project years before, this series of paintings of the flag on display as seen in everyday life is ongoing.

This ongoing series aims to capture a definite sense of connection with paintings of local and regional scenes familiar to those who have lived or visited the places portrayed. Currently, this collection includes paintings of Georgia and Washington. Visitors to the website are invited to share their suggestions and photos of their own special places to be included in this series as it evolves.
